“Temporary light-duty” jobs can become “permanent entitlements” if the employer is not careful. The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) continues to develop new wrinkles for employers. The wrinkles can get especially deep when the ADA comes in contact with other laws. Sometimes the employer seems to be caught between conflicting directives. One of these wrinkles is the conflict between the ADA and workers’ compensation.
